Firstly, I’d like to start this post by saying it may be a long one. So please bear with me when reading this. And if you’ve clicked on this post, I hope I’m intriguing enough to strike up a conversation with.

Hello! I’m a 29 year old male in Chicago looking for someone to be in a relationship with. I’ve been single for a while now and I’m trying to find something long lasting. I’ve had some luck in connections that were LDR’s, but I would like someone who is physically (geographically speaking) closer to me this time around.

As far as a description of me goes; I’m between 5’6” and 5’7” tall with short black hair and facial hair, tan skin, brown eyes, and what I’ve been told is a “dad-bod” physique, and I’m Puerto Rican. I have tattoos and intend on getting more.

I’m looking for a serious LTR and I’m not afraid to commit to that. I do understand that many factors come into play in adult life. Like work and responsibilities, but I will always make time to talk to you. My family (parents, sibling and their spouse, nieces and nephews) is important to me, so they play a big role in my life. Not overly influential, but still very important. So please be a family oriented person as well, or at least understanding that I am.

A bit about me: As I’ve stated, I’m 29 years old and I’m finding myself presented with different opportunities that I would like outside opinions on. As you may already have noticed, I tend to use proper punctuation and grammar when I type/write. It’s a habit I’ve had for a while, and I see no reason to break it now since it’s not a bad one. I’m just stating this because most people tend to think that me using proper punctuation, such as periods for full stops/sentences, means that I’m upset or angry. But that’s simply not the case. My favorite color is purple, and my favorite food is chocolate chip cookies (so if you have a slammin’ homemade recipe for chocolate chip cookies, you get extra points! Lol). As far as hobbies and interests go, they’re all pretty basic. I’m a musician and I can sing, I have written some poetry but haven’t had inspiration to write more as of late, I like to cook and try new foods, and like any typical person my age I enjoy video games -when the mood strikes me- as well as movies and stand up comedy. I am divorced (it’s been 5 years since then) and I don’t have any children; but I would like children of my own some day. I don’t really tend to discuss political matters, and I don’t find myself to be a judgmental person either. I’m not far right, nor am I far left. I’m the type of person who stands firm in what I believe in, but I don’t care about polarizing discussions/topics because those discussions/topics don’t effect me one way or the other. I’m opinionated, yes. But that doesn’t mean I always need or want it to be heard. I can be stubborn at times, but most of the time it’s for a good reason. If there’s anything else you’d like to know about me, feel free to ask.

I have some posts on my profile that pertain to the cgl based subreddit community because I am a cg/dd myself. So if you ignore me because of this, I understand. That lifestyle/community isn’t for everyone. But if it intrigues you, or you yourself are in the cgl/sub subreddit community too, please feel free to reach out as well.
