So my family visited me in a different state where I live, and I took them to a few of my favorite bakeries… they raved about the superior sour dough breads, and selection of delicious, unique pastries near me. Said they haven’t had bread like this since Europe.
Now… what I miss most about Chicagoland is the amazing food on every corner. Denver is just ok when compared. So I am convinced, if we have good fancy bakeries here, Chicago must do it even better…
Can you guys share your favorite spots for Sour Dough / pastries?
I want to send my parents a list of spots to try to get them on a fun out and about! :) thank you!
They live on the NW side, but I am open to hearing about anything
