It was around 2003 when I was watching musicMAX on Australian cable TV, they were playing a collection of 80s hits and “Hard to Say I’m Sorry” came on. I was instantly drawn in by Chicago’s sound and assumed they were an 80s band, that is until later when I saw their performance video of “If You Leave Me Now” with a younger looking long haired Peter Cetera playing lead. The last video of theirs I saw on musicMAX was “25 or 6 to 4” which was the 80s version, I really liked the video and downloaded the song in MP3 but was confused when the song sounded different, being that I unknowingly downloaded the original version.
