Redditors that once were gun-ho about leaving Chicago, what made you stay and is your connection to the city that much greater?
As someone that grew up in the Chicagoland area my whole life and now been living in the city for a little over 3 years, I was always of the idea of “by the time I hit x age, I want to leave Chicago for something else”.
Now that I’m older, a little more settled in my career and comfortable in my skin, this idea of wanting to stay grows more and more and it’s like every time I get to enjoy the things our city has to offer, I fall in love with it more.
