Adding this to help other locals. My wife needed an emergency root canal last night, she was a 9/10 in pain and it really came out of nowhere.

I searched and googled and called and couldn’t find anyone that would even write her a prescription for pain meds, much less see her. We ended up going to the ER because we were literally out of options.

After we waited 3 hours to see the ER doc, he casually mentioned that UIC Hospital has 24 hour emergency dentists that would do what we needed. Go to the UIC Emergency Room get the help you need.

If you need it, that’s where I’d go at 2am on a Tuesday night / Wednesday morning and my loved one (or me) was in unimaginable dental pain.
