It’s infuriating. I don’t know if it’s due to tons of newcomers or people just don’t feel like giving up personal space anymore, but rush hour trains that have unfilled space are driving me nuts. No one is taking off backpacks, doors open and people just look around instead of moving to the middle, instead of getting off and waiting by the doors for others to get off people just stand and look at them trying to weave to get off. We need announcements reminding of etiquette or something!
You’re my Larry David. It gets on my nerves when there’s a packed train and people on the outside are crowding all over, giving no space for people to get out and as soon as the door opens they try to go in without giving time for people to get out. Like what the fuck, there’s no competition we’re all going to be cramped anyway.
This is a social behavior that has been lost over the years. Just like holding the door open and saying good morning to strangers. It’s not about how to ride a rush hour train rather than having the common courtesy to make room for other people.
