Witnessed a hit and run on Barry, just East of Broadway. It was in front of the Reside on Barry building. This happened around 4:45 pm today (Sat, 10/27).

A silver Lexus with IL plate DC93087 was driving erratically. The driver was a short, slender white woman with long straight black hair and glasses, probably age 40.

Lexus lady was tailgating me after we turned onto Barry. I parked by The Bagel and she honked at me when I pulled over to park. She sped off and hit a black Lexus SUV with Ohio Plate KDX7465.

She got out of the car and left her hazard lights on in a 15 minute spot. I called 911 to report what I saw. Didn’t see where she went on foot, but assuming it was one of the nearby buildings.

She got back in the car after 5-10 minutes and sped off, making it a hit and run. We made eye contact as she left. She knows she’s busted.

I left a note, but wanna make sure I get my bases covered. All I had to write on was an old receipt. Who knows if it’ll get rained on before the SUV Lexus driver finds it.

I’ve been the victim of a hit and run before, and it fucking sucks. I also wanna shame this shitty driver because somebody on here probably knows her. If you drive the black SUV, I’m sorry this happened and I sincerely hope this information helps you.
