Non-drinking social activities?

I live in the NW suburbs and moving closer to the city in Sept.
I would love to find places/things to do in the city/surrounding area that are social but not revolving around drinking. I’ve been going to libraries, pottery painting, and I’d love to find a place I could do crafts/art, even somewhere I bring my own stuff and can meet people??
