What are Chicagoan bike thefts ACTUALLY/specifically doing with stolen bikes? Have any stories?
Post Body

i feel like most people are too smart to sell on either craigslist or fb marketplace, or they need money immediately and can't wait.

also, apparently all chicago pawn shops check police reports for stolen bike descriptions every time they receive a bike. how consistent is this?

is it out of the question to think they'd take it to the suburbs to sell it?

you ever see your stolen bike at a flea market? i already let the local flea market bike seller know
