I had my decompression and laminectomy July 15th. Healed, did my PT, got cleared for work. Went back to work for one week.

Now I have a CSF leak from the synthetic patch and am currently in the office waiting to schedule my stat imaging and my next surgery. Can’t wait to call my boss when I get out.

If you get the decompression ask for them to make a patch from your own tissue! He said he’s going to take a piece from my leg this time and that they’ve been using these new synthetic patches to save having 2 incisions but now I get another surgery, 2 incisions, and a fun drain in my spine with an extra couple days stay in the hospital this time.
