Hey everybody. I was diagnosed at 14, type 1. I've always had a range of symptoms that were inconvenient but manageable, however as I'm getting older (27/f) my symptoms are changing and becoming more and more painful and persistent and are really just affecting my day to day a lot more. Shooting pains, chronic pain, ability to walk is being affected, tinnitus, migraines, etc. Anyways I'm a stock clerk (bad for CM, i know but gotta pay the bills) and I don't have insurance through my job and I'm just overwhelmed by the whole medicaid/disability . Has anybody successfully navigated getting coverage through medicaid? I'm in virginia but any advice or success stories would be helpful.
