Update on howling sound: dealership just told me the turbo is going bad and needs to be replaced. (This is a ‘23 at 17,500 miles). This is atroicious!

Post Body

I’ve had headaches from this truck since getting it in January. All the recalls and small BS issues with the software, but now, a bad turbo at only 17,500 miles? What the actual fuck?

I think it’s time I bite the bullet and get rid of the truck. I wish GM had kept naturally aspirated V6’s in these things. I’m considering the 3.6L Gladiator or the 3.8L Frontier now.

I know not everyone’s truck will have the issues mine has had, and this truck is fun to drive. But the software issues and now mechanical issues have really made me turn away from ever getting a General Motors vehicle again. I hope mine is just a fluke.
