It's had a history of electrical issues since about 50k miles. Whenever I would set the parking brake on an incline it would throw every single code. At one point when I was up in the mountains it decided to go into limp mode until I pulled over turned it off open to the door and restarted it he went back into regular mode just fine. I stopped using the parking brake and the problem seemed to go away. I told the dealership about it a couple times but could never repeat the issue to show them. Then the entire fuel system started going out on me at 80k (unbeknownst to me at the time, even though I complained to the dealer about specific issues I couldn't get the truck to repeat the issue with them) it started having intermittent issues with power when I gave it gas and the fuel system finally failed a couple months ago at 120,000 miles and after shelling out a discounted $5400 on a 9k service bill, they got it running again. Everything seemed fine until yesterday I had been driving for a few minutes and the air conditioning started blowing a foul moldy smell. I turned the air completely off and parked a couple minutes later and couldn't figure out where the smell was coming from under the hood. Then today I get in the truck to drive to work and a minute after I start it it says battery saver active and I thought well that's weird but I get to work a couple minutes later and park it and go about my day. Then I go to leave work and turn the truck on in a minute later it says battery saver active and I scroll over to the battery voltage screen and it says 10.6. I continue driving in about a minute later it says battery charging system and it's down at 10 volts. I'm back into my parking spot at home and it throws the same codes like it did when it was having the electrical problem and I shift it from Park to reverse a couple times just to see if I can provoke it to throw the code and I notice it's shifting really rough. I put it in park and I go to roll my windows up and they won't roll up. I look at the battery voltage and it's at 8.2. So now I've determined that it's basically in limp mode and right as I'm about to turn it off all of my electrical in my dash goes dead. So the truck is now running with the headlights on and dinging at me repeatedly for all the codes but I have no display. And because of whatever issue this is the truck doesn't think it's in park and so I can't take the key out. I came inside to eat something and came back out and the headlights were off but the wipers are moving and I was able to take the key out. But the wipers are still moving even though the truck is completely dead so I'm just convinced that my truck has become sentient. Facepalm
