Anti Theft Reset

So I'm having an issue with my truck 2012 Chevy Colorado... It will not start at all and is just flashing the Anti Theft light. I've read everything and I've done everything on the Internet trying to bypass this issue... Nothing has worked. Has anyone had this issue and if so how did you fix it? I've done the 15 minutes on and 30 seconds off then go again. Could it be a battery issue? The battery is at least 3 years old right now.
