Dealer Installed Dash Cam

Post Body

Hello everyone, I just got back from the dealer after installing the illuminated emblem and the dash cam from Chevy accessories. The emblem has some glue on it for some reason which I’m hoping to clean off soon. The issue is the dash cam install. When I looked in the back seat I saw the cable to the rear cam was hanging freely near the top of the door. I was able to conceal it inside the rubber door seal, however there’s is still a part of it that is visible and is, seemingly, opening(?) the panel with the cable. Just wanted to know if that is normal, if it is inevitable, or if they didn’t do the greatest job at installing it in a concealed fashion?

If more pictures are needed just Lmk!

My daughter is driving a Kia, I was thinking about putting a dashcam in there. Don’t really know where to start for installation if anyone has any ideas. She wanted to drive my Colorado but I can’t give that up yet.
