So the Chess.com Global Championship was presented to us by Brave, which is a browser that blocks all cookies and ads and ensures greater privacy... or so it claims. But does anyone who is more tech savvy than I am describe how much of an improvement it is?
I have actually been using Brave for a day now, and overall the transition has been quite seamless. So I don't mind sticking with it if it gives all the benefits that is advertised. It also lets you connect to Tor which has even better security if that's needed. (though Tor is quite slow compared to Google and Brave.)
So is Brave just an outright improvement over Google? Are there any drawbacks or things that I should be on the lookout for?
