Let me just say, there's a huge difference between not wanting to resign after losing your queen, and not wanting to resign when you have no pieces left and the score is -14, especially in longer time modes.
The amount of people I see who sit there wasting time waggling their king around the board to eventually be checkmate anyway 20 moves later is just shameful.
The only message this sends is "I think you're so bad that you'll somehow blunder every piece and my one pawn will promote and I'll checkmate you". It's just so genuinely disrespectful.
Like when you have a proper attack or chance to win its fine. I play risky and a lot of the time go for counter attacks with my other pieces when I lose a sequence.
But if you have no pieces left, and you opponent has like 3, just resign.
