Hey!
I'm quite a beginner and can only really think ahead maybe 5 moves. So when i want to use computer analysis to see which tactics i missed in a game i run the PGN through LucasChess with Stockfish7 but only with Depth 5, because deeper analysis gives me lines that i couldn't have spotted anyway, and for now i find that pointless. Is that ignorant or wrong of me?
And another Question i have is: Depth 5 means "the state of the board after 4 moves have been made? (Current State 1 move done 2 moves done 3 moves done 4 moves done)
Thanks for your insights! Joe
ps: i like to play faster games (15 minutes max) and i'm really quite "bad" meaning that against Stockfish on Skilllevel 0 and Depth 1 i only win 50% of the games :P
