I won’t give the name of the drug for obvious reasons and I don’t want anyone to actually do this themselves, but over the past 2ish months I’ve been taking a neurogenic drug that apparently improves your memory and helps you learn things. I did not take it for chess specifically btw, I took it for school.
I’ve been playing chess for ~2 years now and I’ve always been stuck in the 1100-1200 range.
But over the last month alone, I’ve managed to climb all the way to 1600. I haven’t watched any tutorials, I haven’t studied anything, I can’t name a single opening to save my life. All I’ve been doing is simply playing games, and I gained 400 elo in the last month.
Don’t do drugs, this is just for discussion purposes.
