Suggestions for salt (or other) crystals that can be grown in an amateur lab with appropriate numbers of sides to use in D&D (4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 20)
Post Body

Obviously, NaCl for a d6, but NaSO4 also makes a 6 sided crystal, so let's not limit shapes to the regular polyhedra, cause it might make things more interesting.

Not intended for practical use, just wanted to be able to say "hey, look at these dice that I GREW", and maybe have them in a little display case with some LEDs under them.

I can coat them in resin, so they don't have to be atmospherically stable, and being display pieces, they don't have to be completely non-toxic, but still preferable.

(I have no idea if this is even possible/practical, so be nice or you'll make smolvortex sad)
