What test am I supposed to perform to check the purity of a hormone powder and check the Ester of it ?
I have a few grams of Testosterone powder and I want to check the purity of it.
I am not sure of the Ester and the purity of it.
I want to check the purity of the compound and what Ester it belongs to.
I've been thinking about performing HPLC but I don't know what standard I'm supposed to use.
The lab technician suggests GCMS.
Is it possible that I give them the powder without mentioning the name of it but tell them that it is hormone powder and have them find the purity of the compound and the Ester it belongs to ?
Thanks in advance.
