Undergraduate Thesis about software for chemistry.
Post Body

I took a project for an undergraduate thesis that was meant to be "Mathematica (the software) and its applications for chemistry".

I told my supervisor if I could do Python instead (been learning it and I'm interested on it) and we settled on Software for Chemistry to make it more flexible (as my supervisors know little about both Python and chemistry, they are math teachers).

I've been making Python scripts to do linear regression for analysis, numerical methods for integration, and some brute force calculating.

I feel that as of now there is nothing I can do with Python that cannot be done (or also done) better/easier with different specialized tools for each thing.

I also made an overview for a revision of software tools for different chemistry fields (chatgpt helped). I see this as a possibility but feels less rewarding.

What could I do?
