I see often people posting ‘is this safe if I am working with it’, etc. Sometimes, SDS are included. That’s helpful.
What seems to never get mentioned is PPE, engineering controls, etc. in posts. This info changes comments completely.
In other words, if you are working with HF acid, and have all necessary PPE and use it, then you either need just pay attention or if you just can’t get past the risks of the chemical…find another position or job.
If you work with it in flip flops, cotton gloves and empty coke bottles, just find another job. Period.
What I am saying…more necessary info in these cases!
