Need help with wt/vol

An experiment required us to use 1.0g of PPh3 followed by the addition of 2- methoxyethanol (30ml). The report then asks us to calculate formula wt (g/mol), wt(g)/vol(ml) and moles for PPh3.
When calculating weight per volume. Is the weight used in the formula the molar mass of the PPh3 or the used mass which would be 1.0g. Does the volume also have to account for the density of 2-methoxyethanol or could I just use 30ml in the formula. Thanks
