I have a can of "Baufix Metal paint with rust protection" which I want to use as a base layer on my coffee machine, but after reading all the small print it says
"Do not spray with acrylic paint or nitrocellulose lacquer even when fully dried".
I can't think of a reason why I wouldn't be able to, unless the paint pushes moisture away from the metal, then another layer would stop it from doing this
Any ideas why I can't paint over it?
(I know its not the best paint to use for the job but I can't really afford to by more paint)
