Mod post: spotting spam, and what to do about it.
Post Body

It is a daily thing we see here, a post comes in and it should be nuked immediately. So here are some tips on spotting posts that should be reported and definitely not upvoted:

Is it stolen content? Usually spam posts are identical pics from someone who already posted them.

Is the account new? New is a bit of a relative term, but usually you can spot a spammer by their username being random words and numbers, as well as being only a few months old at most.

Is the post containing spelling errors? Similar to the stolen content note, these spam accounts put in almost no effort in making the titles. It is usually the same as the post before, but with a spelling error or two so bots don't immediately identify it as a repeat or stolen post.

Keep an eye out for these things, folks, and report it immediately if something seems fishy. It will help our page grow better, our community stay healthy, and especially help keep these jerks from stealing legitimate content.
