Discovering that my wife had been unfaithful shook our foundation, trust shattered, doubts lingered, she claims she was drunk and doesn't remember, I tend to believe her, either way it hurt. After the emotions settled, I chose to stay, it wasn't about condoning betrayal, but about understanding the complexities of human frailty and the depths of forgiveness.
I seek a discreet companion with someone who, like me, understands the pain of infidelity, yet chose to stay because of what they built, but rebuilding has been more difficult. My wife knows of this post, and we've discussed this, she is allowing me to explore this option in hope of bringing some kind of fire back into our own bedroom.
