I'm a 29 y/o straight married man, living in Liverpool in the UK. I often have time to pass so I am looking for online friends to have slow burn, hopefully long term conversations about anything and everything.
I'm kind, conversant, humourous, good natured and non-judgemental.
I love music of all kinds but my roots are in rock and metal, and I've dabbled with playing the guitar over the years. I also love films - talk to me about Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Jurassic Park or the Cornetto trilogy (Brits will know).
I have an academic background in physics and love all forms of science as well as history, politics and philosophy. I love learning new things and people who are passionate about any topics are my kind of people so come at me with your obscure obsessions!
I work with trains and am a big nerd for railways and anything to do with transport. Some of my favourite games are transport tycoons and simulators. I also love strategies like Civ as well as various other genres and titles.
I like to read, cook, tend to my garden, and go walking or cycling on a nice day. I like to travel at home and abroad, and will never pass up the opportunity to try a lovely restaurant or country pub. I love cats and have two.
I welcome people 18 or older, from all countries and walks of life, for conversations including any of the above or something totally different. Timezones don't bother me as I'm often up early or late.
