Statement: does it feel like people have lost conversation skills?

My take I agree in the sense that attention spans have been shortened and opinion define if you fit in or are opposite of peoples views. Ofcourse in my experience in Europe (I’m Dutch/Hungarian) is that a large portion of young people still have the ability to make good conversation ranging from small to deep talk. Only in this day and age the lack of conversation skills are being safety netted by social media and avoiding confrontation by going into victim mode or in their feelings. Long story short there’s a larger portion of the youth but also some older people that instead of being seen as weak they are welcomed just for inclusivity’s sake.

I am interested in peoples thoughts.
