I recently got a new cage and it’s very uncomfortable, unfortunately not in a hot way.

The cage has an external lock but from what I can tell the design of the cage seems more similar to one with an internal lock. No ability to adjust it and the tube of the cage going back all the way to the ring. This is where the issue is. The tube is curved and digs in and almost makes the skin at the base of my cock overflow around it and chafe between the tube and the ring.

Is this normal for this kind of cage or is it going wrong somewhere? If anyone has had this issue how did you fix it or was there a different kind of cage that worked better? Open to any suggestions or advice
