Order Process & Shipping

The order process was super smooth, I contacted /u/kink3d through Reddit and arranged everything through there. Replies were swift, and all my questions were answered. /u/kink3d has a pretty good post detailing the different sizes you can buy. After the order was confirmed, it was shipped out the very next day! Shipped through your standard USPS in a very discrete plain white box. Nothing about the outside gives away what the contents are.

Sizing

I have personal experience when it comes to wearing chastity cages 24/7/365, which just means I know what works for me, and I know what I want! There are many sizes offered, but one thing Kink3d does differently that I love is they compare their cages to other “brand name” cages so you know exactly what sizing you should purchase if you have prior experience with chastity cages. If you need assistance with sizing, it is a simple Google search away. However if you have a general idea of what you’re doing when it comes to sizing, then Kink3d’s guide is spot on. For example, I ordered the “N” sized cage and the comparison is “Between a HT Nub and HT Nano” which tells me exactly what I need to know when it comes to sizing.

Bulging

Printing for my sized cage isn’t significant at all! I think one thing “noobies” don’t realize is no one… I repeat NO ONE is staring at your crotch. The feeling of an extra bulge there is just a thought in your mind because you know you are wearing a chastity cage. No one else would notice, or even guess that you’re wearing one. And if they do… it just means they are a fellow chastity cage enthusiast like you. However, I know words mean little to calm your anxiety therefore I have attached an album of photos demonstrating how insignificant printing is with day to day clothes.

Erections, Nocturnal Erections, and Morning Wood

If everything is sized properly, erections shouldn't hurt. In my case erections are extremely comfortable in the Cobra cage. The key really is to find your perfect size. Don’t get me wrong, pressure still exists during erections, but it's nothing unbearable.

Nocturnal erections can easily be managed similar to all other chastity cages. A lot of times the pressure build up is due to the fact that you need to urinate. Simply go to the bathroom every time you wake up at night when the cage is bugging you. Over time this should subside.

Morning wood at my point being permanently caged for 2 years now is almost non-existent. However I do remember when morning wood was a thing. Again, a properly sized cage comes into play again. A caged size properly shouldn’t give you much trouble. Over time your body learns to adapt when it realizes being locked up in chastity is just part of life now!

Ease of Urination

This is one of the most important things when it comes to choosing the right cage for me! In my job, It isn’t always feasible for me to sit and relieve myself. Therefore I must be able to relieve myself standing up, and in urinals. The Cobra cage makes that possible. I just simply look to make sure my urethra is lined up with the slit in the front and do my thing! If I am not linked up, I can make quick minor adjustments with my pinky finger. With a little practice… you’ll be a pro at urinals and rogue spray won’t occur!

Security

I think this goes without saying, plastic cages are never going to be as secure as metal cages. Therefore everything I mention is taking that into consideration. Minus that one simple factor, this cage is incredibly secure. The gap from the cage and base ring fit perfectly and comfortable making it impossible for my testicles to slip out. Pull out is still possible but reversing that is very difficult, borderline impossible. If you cheat… your keyholder will know about it and hopefully discipline you accordingly.

Comfort

This is one of the strongest points of this cage, is the comfort. I can go on for hours telling you how comfortable this cage is! For starters, the shape of the base ring is almost like a U shape, with a roof. This allows the base ring to contour to your body PERFECTLY! I’ve worn quite a few 3D printed cages, from fully custom to partial custom and I have never felt something as comfortable straight out of the box as my Cobra cage from Kink3d. It still requires a daily application of baby oil gel, but that is definitely a personal preference and necessary for me for all types of chastity cages.

Exercising

The last thing the Cobra cage does is restrict movement. I have been able to run, lift, mountain bike, and even play paintball while wearing the Cobra cage with no issue. I forget it's there most of the time!

Metal Detectors

As someone who travels frequently for both work and pleasure, this was a huge bonus! Whenever I wore metal cages I have done it all. I Took it off right before and placed it in my luggage, skipped wearing it which I hated the most, even embarrassed myself when the alarms went off and I had to explain I was wearing “intimate jewellery”. I have personally worn the Cobra cage through airport metal detectors and work metal detectors with the brass cylinder lock and it has never gone off! I have even gone through 3D body scanners with no red flags! This is definitely a huge plus!

Beginner Friendly?

I think this is the only downfall with this cage. I would not recommend this as anyone's “first cage” considering the price point. I definitely think this is an “Intermediate” cage for lack of better words. You have to have a general idea of what works for you when it comes to sizing, material, and comfort. However once you do know those things from experimenting with cheap knockoffs… I can’t recommend this cage enough!

Cleanliness

The open design of this cage definitely allows for ease of cleaning. There are a lot of methods you can look up when it comes to hygiene while wearing a cage, but this is definitely one of those cages that allow you to go for a decent amount of time without unlocking to clean.
