Help deciding between sizes

I'm planning to buy this chastity cage. It's a HT knockoff and I'm trying to decide between two sizes, nub and nano. I measure in at around 2.625 inches (2 and 5/8 or 66.6 mm). Taking half an inch off of that as usually recommended gives 2 and an 8th, which is just a bit smaller than the Nub. The thing is, the Nub looks really small, and it has the protrusion out the back that goes past the ring. That's making me think it'll actually be a little shorter than 2.32 as listed, which worries me. If the same thing translates to the Nano, would it be better to get the nano?
