Hi,

I’m FTM with a metoidioplasty. Essentially a very thin micropenis with the meatus where a cis man’s frenulum is. I have a flat cage, which is ends up just a covering and doesn’t make much contact with my cock. I have a “negative” cage - it only lines up with the ring, more accurate to call it a zero-sum cage. I’m hoping to get some guidance and tips for clean urination.

With the flat cage, I can fit some toilet paper in from the sides, so not that bad. But I’m not looking to have that be my regular deal. The “negative” one is a much tighter fit for my dick (but still doesn’t impede erection, but that’s a different issue).

Peeing with the “negative” cage is an issue a great deal of pee ends up stuck between the bottom of the cage and my scrotum. Pee comes out the ventilation holes, as well as one designed for a catheter/plug/dilator/whatever, but after I read about some guys getting significant UTIs with it, I will not be doing that. The cage snaps into the ring, so I don’t actually need the lock (which is good because it’s made wrong for it to fit, that’s what happens with cheap Amazon shit though), and I can just pop it out to pee, but kind of feel like I’m cheating when I do that.

Any pointers are greatly appreciated :)

PS: I’m also looking into one from Cherry Keeper now that I know my ring size. The innie, I think, with touch stop, but I haven’t made that purchase yet. If you’ve got experience with that cage, I’d love to hear about it too. I’m hoping it’ll actually solve my problem with nothing interfering with my erections.
