I'm relatively new to chastity, and I currently have two (cheap) cages that I've been using to gauge my measurements. I'm still struggling with some of the bad examples of physical discomfort. I'm hoping for any experienced individuals on this sub that would be willing to help me review where I am and discuss my next steps to try and get a proper fitting cage.

I've included photos and explanations of my most recent steps on this journey.

For a while I was having issues with the ring pulling away from my body during any erections, particularly because I get hard very easily and as soon as I go to put the cage on, it starts. I learned to set the ring on as close as possible to my body, and only push the cage down to the ring - never pull the ring to meet the cage. Also, strap. Here's an example before those fixes:

The gap on this particular cage is, I feel, extremely tiny. This causes pain and discoloration when I wear it for more than a few minutes. Here is the gap shown separately:

Thats the rough summary of what I'm working with. The above cage fits very snug around my shaft and holds everything nicely in place, even when struggling against erections. However, the issue with the gap means that I can only wear it for less than around 10 minutes before the pain and discoloration starts.

I am thinking of shooting for the kink3d N, with a ring type 2. This roughly matches the sizing of the cage I showed above, with a seemingly larger gap.

For reference, my current cage measures an internal length of ~2.5" and an internal ring diameter of ~43mm (arc ring).

If there's anything that stands out to the experienced crowd as a red flag, or even an organe or slightly yellow flag, please let me know! The kink3d models are definitely a large step to take, and I want to do everything I can before making this leap!
