The Charleston Parks Conservancy, in partnership with Charleston Trees, is thrilled to offer free native trees to City of Charleston residents. You’ll have a variety of native trees to choose from, including Southern Magnolia, Tulip Poplar, Eastern Redbud, and more. Just select your tree when registering!
Tree Pick-Up: Saturday, February 8 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Magnolia Park and Community Gardens, 720 Magnolia Road, Charleston, SC 29407
Each household is limited to two trees.
All trees come in a 3-gallon container and range from approximately 3 to 7 feet tall.
Tree Planting Instructions: We’ll provide guidance on planting and caring for your new trees.
More Information: Staff will be on hand to assist with questions or you can learn more about each tree species in the SC Forestry Commission’s Urban Tree Species Guide for South Carolina.
