Hello. Iā€™m creating a homebrew fantasy world for an RPG and have several unique races. This is for the race called the Sessk, a race of lizardfolk. I want to base their physical appearance off that of marine iguanas (the ones that live on the Galapagos). Detailed description follows. Thanks!!

Sessk are tall, between 6.5 and 7 feet. They have broad upper bodies but relatively short legs. They have stout necks and a lizard-like head with a short, blunt snout. They have broad but thin tails that are usually about half as long as the Sessk is tall.

A column of spines run from the back of their skulls down their backs to the tips of their tails. Sessk scales are pebble-like in texture and tend to be dark colored, most commonly black, indigo, dark green, or dark red. Patches of brighter colors usually appear on their faces, hands, and tails, in the form of stripes, spots, or speckles. Their spines are also usually brightly colored.

Sessk have five-toed feet and five-fingered hands. Both have slightly curved claws for nails, though these are not used as weapons. The middle digit is usually quite a bit longer than the others.

Sessk eyes are usually brown with a black pupil. Heavy scaled lids partly cover their eyes at all times, giving them a sleepy appearance. They tend to have placid, stoic demeanors and faces that betray very little emotion.

Sessk wear little clothing, perhaps loincloths or breeches, and bracers, usually made from hide or animal fur. They wear tribalistic jewelry, made from bones, claws, shells, and polished stones, as bracelets, necklaces, rings, or piercings.
