How does the paradigm/religion/tradition/environment you were raised to believe differ from the magical belief system that you have adopted now after years of practice?
Or has it always been the same?
Or maybe you have also rectified the two things in some way?
Or perhaps you had some revelation that showed you that even though you tried to deviate from your "heritage" you had actually been unknowingly practicing it all along?
I find a lot of people come to magic, especially that of a more pagan/spirit-model flavor, in order to flee from a christianity that they were raised in that abused them, and then they get angry because all of the really cool medieval grimoire magic is all super christian. Ironic.
But maybe your experience differs? We got people in this group from around the world afterall.
Maybe you were raised atheist? Or raised in a cult? These things happen.
Maybe you're a MK Ultra supersoldier?
