I'm speaking as an LGBT (bisexual) woman.

If you don't believe in the "queer black feminist intersectional theory" then what specifically makes you pretty far left? Or more specifically, what about the "queer black feminist intersectional theory" is wrong and alienates you?

Because so far, the only thing you've said that would indicate you're pretty far left is the identity politics you mentioned the left focuses too much on.

Your economics are far left in terms of what? Plenty of people in the far left understand how entwined race has become in things like capitalism/economics. There's a reason why people often talk about sociology and economics simultaneously.

I'm asking this because you seem to not have figured out that intersectionality is exactly the kind of thing everyone needs. It's not about microaggressions, it's about understanding that people are different and need different things. One solution for one person is not the same thing as a solution for all people.

I'm not looking to break down the idea that you aren't exactly a far leftist, I was asking this because I wanted to know why you thought "queer black feminist intersectional theory" was inherently bad or useless. Maybe you didn't understand it, but I'm not going to push you on this.

Because maybe you fell for the trick that conservatives pull, where they say "wokeness" is nonsense instead of a different analysis of the way the world works.

Which is why I tried to get you to clarify because people like AOC and Bernie Sanders understand that economics can have a racial impact.

Their famous Green New Deal was often derided by critics due to it including environmental justice, which deals with a fair amount of so called "identity politics". So again, the far left has economic policy entwined with so called intersectionality.

I was asking why you thought it was bad so I could understand more about why you thought democrats were all about identity politics, because more often than not the far left is more guilty of identity politics than the mainstream/centrist and conservative democrats (who definitely outnumber the far left).
