Updated application following a deferral!
Check it out and see what you think my odds are come March 17.
Applying in-state, white/caucasian male for Computer Science/Engineering.
- 3.95 recalculated GPA per UGA's guidelines (97.22 weighted 100 scale) and a 29 ACT (28M, 28E, 29R, 30S)(8 Writing). With that being said. I thought I had amazing essays and I am rather involved in my school and community which is honestly what I'm partly riding on for admissions. -I was selected to be a part of the North Georgia Saxophone Ensemble HOSTED AT UGA, I am in all of the National Honor Societies, I am a math tutor, I am an all-district (5 time) and all-state (2 time) saxophonist, I did and internship in a STEM field, Varsity Math club, I worked part time, I ran a jewelry business which funded the computer that I built to get me into Comp. Sci, I am in a "STEM Academy", which is a cohort based STEM education focused group ( rigorous), I volunteer, and I have taken 5 AL classes and 15 honors level classes.
Considering Dr. Graves recent report on 2023 admissions statistics, My GPA is mid at 0.08 higher than average and my ACT composite is just 1 higher than average.
I believe I was originally deferred since they did not receive my newest ACT in time. Should that be true, I believe I have a shot considering the ACT they first saw was a 25. π
What do yβall think?
Thanks π«Άπ»
