Has anyone had any issues with having one of the CGRP's (in my case, I use Emgality but have been on Aimovig in the past as well) and the Mirena (levonorgestrel-releasing) IUD?

I used to have a bad reaction with Trokendi XR (Time-released topamax) & the Mirena, and because I preferred to have the migraine relief, I had the Mirena removed once already due to the problems between the two. My GYN said the Mirena could cause migraines w/ aura, but I'm hoping the CGRP continues to stop the migraines in their tracks, like when it works about 80% of the time with barometric pressure changes (one of the top causes of my migraines) .

The GYN suggested getting the all copper IUD, but I already tried it for 7 months straight years ago and ended up bleeding 90% of the time instead of the other way around.
