For many months I’ve been without a baby girl. There’s this line in Beauty in the Beast where the Candle sings “life is so unnerving for the servant who’s not serving.” Well that’s how I feel. In my opinion, a daddy is, ultimately, a servant, and I serve by studying you, knowing you, learning your schedule, your routines, the things that upset you and the things that calm you.
I learn when you need a kiss on the forehead and when you need encouragement to finish a deadline.
