These are a few of the top things I get out of being a daddy:

The act of caretaking fills me with a sort of warmth that is different than sexual satisfaction, but it’s definitely just as important to me. It gives me a sense of purpose, a deep chest and stomach feeling that wells and brings me joy. It feels like a yearning need is satisfied.

I love being the person that someone can run to and tell about their day, their fears, their needs, their interests. I love learning how someone thinks, feels, reasons, copes, and expresses themself.

I enjoy coaching people to be the best version of themselves. I like being relied on for input on hard decisions. I enjoy taking what I know about the person and also what I feel is in their best interest into account and using all known data points to give responsible and helpful advice. I love giving honest feedback.

I enjoy making up creative rules and punishments that fit into a person’s daily life, but also knowing they’re constantly thinking about me and trying to please me.

I also enjoy toys and coloring and creative activities and puzzles and animated movies and candy and all the fun stuff we can do together. I like random road trips and goofing around and laughing. I like the airy feeling of being with a little, middle, or sub who lets loose and can be their true self around me.

Picking out your clothes is fun too. I don’t require control over your entire wardrobe, but I like helping to choose outfits and components of outfits.

I love snuggling and closeness and giving baths and cradling you. I like giving attention to your tummy and your hands and kissing your head and cheeks.

I could go on and on, but I’ve heard this question asked before. I’ve heard others ponder why someone would take the role of daddy. It’s more than just the sexual side. That side is important too, of course, but the caretaking and trust is the heart of it all.
