I go on entire shopping trips just to buy cutesy things that put me in middlespace (I might share my latest haul later because it was very exciting). I also identify as a service sub who is into more "standard" BDSM things. I have a casual play partner right now and would like to potentially have a dom in the near-ish future, but I don't think I want a CG. Being in middlespace feels like my time to relax on my own terms. My (vanilla) ex used to be involved in some ways, like playing Animal Crossing with me or showing me Pusheen videos when I was stressed, but we didn't have a power dynamic because this was back before I knew I was into CGL or kink in general; I thought I was just hyperfeminine. And honestly, I don't want to involve a power dynamic in my cute lil activities. I want a partner who respects this side of me, but I don't need them to actively take part in it and I definitely don't want them controlling aspects of it. Am I still valid? I've heard of other things like agere which don't involve power dynamics, but I don't fit in with that community as they seem to be pretty anti-kink.
