... I asked her if she wanted to be my little, if she wanted me to be her Daddy.
She said yes.
It was a bit of a whirlwind ... she'd reached out to me just a few days earlier, in response to a post here on Reddit. She'd never had a Daddy before and told me so. I could just feel something though, in a few messages back and forth and then a more regular chat that quickly moved to the phone ... she was smart, and clever, and most important entirely open to me. She wasn't afraid to ask questions -- do I call you daddy all the time? How do I know when it's playtime? What happens if I do something wrong? And she was very honest in telling me that just talking about my being her Daddy made her body tingle all over and made her thoughts run fast and made her feel things she'd never felt before.
All that made me quite bold, and a year ago today I asked her if she wanted to me to be her daddy, and she said, "yes I want to be a good girl for you."
And has she ever been just that. In the past year I've seen her through her first semester of graduate school, I've taught her all about soccer (my favorite sport), we've read romance books together, we've spent many a late night falling asleep watching princess movies. She's doing Very Big Things right now, which stresses her out sometimes but she's always willing to do what a good girl needs to do to make her Daddy happy and proud. We have our own inside jokes and our own silliness and she knows exactly how to make me laugh and how to make me need her and how to make me happy. I've bought her stuffies, toys, coloring books and collars. Even a year later she gets shy in the cutest ways.
I've got a lot more years under my belt than she does, and this year has been my favorite so far. I can't wait for the next year to be even more fun with her.
