Made three posts in this subreddit, first post a year ago, last post titled „I guess I‘m sillier than I expected“ in September this year, maybe some of you remember it. u/noytam messaged me, we met up 3 times in person since then and now we‘re in a relationship :)) He’s here next to me right now and keeps nudging me to give more detail so I made him share his side instead lmao

Noytam: We wanted to share our story of meeting via this sub to encourage fellow CF singles. Despite a long search (for both of us) and our share of disappointments, I'm now in a committed relationship with this incredible woman.
She's exactly the kind of girl I've always wanted. One with sharp wits (and tongue), who's super curious, humorous and playful. She's highly rational but still warm and loving. All that plus being one of the most gorgeous and stylish women I've ever seen (and that's also the reaction of most people who see her, in case you think I'm biased). I feel so incredibly lucky every day we're together.
We're in an LDR most of the time, but that hasn't stopped us falling in love, and we're sure to close the distance in the future.
Advice for those interested: Stay active, learn what hasn't worked after each attempt, and improve on it in your subsequent attempts. It's better in my opinion to chat to fewer people if they're more likely to be the right ones, and be patient and allow things to develop naturally in chats with new people.

At the point of my last post, I had been single for 3 years. I had been dating extensively that whole time, met people both IRL and from cf4cf and nothing seemed to click, regardless of whether they wanted children or not. Honestly, I was starting to come to terms with being single for at least the next decade and the last post here was my last-ditch effort and that’s when noytam messaged me. And on top of our lack of desire for children, we seem to be compatible on multiple levels - intellectually, emotionally, sexually, our interests, habits, preferred lifestyle. He has many great qualities and treats me like a princess and I feel extremely lucky that he took the chance and shot his shot :))

Hope this gives y‘all a bit of hope that it can happen, don’t give up!
