I’ve been nervous about posting this as it feels more vulnerable than traditional dating apps, but after deleting hinge/bumble for the last time it’s really this or bumping into my soulmate in the local Sainsbury’s….

So here we go 😅 I live by myself with my two little dogs, have a decent job in the travel industry which I really enjoy and a good network of friends (although losing a lot of these at the moment to family life so I don’t see them as often as I’d like). My last serious relationship was about six years ago which ended over the issue of kids, so I took some time to process that and work on myself, and then have had two shorter term boyfriends since, both of them wanted children also - feel like I’ve been stuck in a bit of a pattern! Very much happy with who I am now, I know I’m a nice, fairly cultured person who likes to support others and am generally quite fun company. Got some work to do on the body image front as have put on a little bit of weight over the last couple of years that I’m still trying to accept, but I’d still consider myself to be quite feminine and I like to take care of my appearance.

I like being outdoors, reading, films, prefer 70s/80s music, have a very creative mind and love art and design but suck at creating anything myself 🤣 My ADHD diagnosis a couple of years ago made my often-started and never-finished hobbies make a lot more sense, but currently I’m trying to learn French (again), piano and I’d also love to learn to fly a helicopter but knowing myself as I do that is probably something I will never follow through on 😅

Hard to know what to put here but hopefully that’s enough to get started! In the past I’ve made a few good connections with online dating but when we’ve met it’s felt more platonic (happened both on my side and on theirs), so no pressure for anything romantic immediately, would just be nice to chat to someone likeminded and then see if there’s a spark from there 😃
