Hello!
I'm hoping to find a woman to share this crazy world with, ideally a long-term partner; however, I'm open to short term and friends as well. I'm looking for someone to complement my life, not complete it. My life is pretty complete at the moment! I'd hope any potential partner feels the same way, they're fully independent, enjoying their situation, but looking to enhance it a bit with the right company.
Had a vasectomy in November. ✂️ ✂️
I live north of Boston, and I'd prefer to make a connection with someone that is close enough that we could meet in person without involving airplanes. I wish I could say that start something long distance could work for me, but I think I do a pretty awful job at keeping up with just chatting when meeting in person isn't immediately possible.
I work in museums, and have for quite a few years. I work directly with the collections, but in a collection care/preparation role, so more physically. Generally making sure the art/collection is safe and well cared for, doing the handling of the works, and preparing them for display. I enjoy my job very much!
I'm also single, in Massachusetts, and work for non-profits, so I have a second much less interesting part time job. 🙃
I have two dogs, and a bunch of freshwater tropical fish.
I've had a bit of a creative Renaissance over the last few years, and enjoy a number of hobbies and pursuits that generally only us child free types have the resources and time for, haha. I'm working with ceramics, photography, 3D printing, electroforming, paper making, print making, furniture making/wood working, brazing, and more. I've turned my space into a bit of an art studio, it's great!
I also enjoy getting out, especially into nature. I like a moderate hike, though I'm open to checking out something more technical like the White Mountains. I love taking my kayak on the Ipswich River, and a nice bike ride. I often take my camera with me on hikes, or in my kayak, and get some really fun nature photos! I even won an honorable mention for a picture of a nuthatch. 🐦
I'm a big Sci-Fi/Fantasy fan, and enjoy pretty much all of the popular culture from that genre.I'm a reformed video game player, I used to play all the MMORPGs, back to the days of MUDs, Ultima Online, Asheron's Call, and of course World of Warcraft. Over the last five years or so I've stuck to single player games that I can pick up and put down as time allows.
I've also been a D&D player since I was 13, though I haven't had a local group for years now. It's something I'm trying to work back into my schedule!
Politically, I'm Independent, but lean heavily progressive. Bernie Sanders and AOC sort of policies and ideology.
Golf clap to the downvoter(s). 👏 👏
Haha, I thought it was denile? But appreciate the sentiment. I'll never understand the impulse to downvote on relationship subreddits.

Hello back to you, and thanks for the compliment!
EDIT: Oops, I accidently posted early. Pre-mature posting, I should see a doctor.
I've played a variety of classes, but Rangers will always have a special place in my heart. My first character was a Ranger, and my longest running character (different than first) was a Ranger.
I was also always a fan of multiclassing, my last character was theif/fighter/mage. Game ended when the DM moved, would have loved to take that one further.
Bards are a fun class too, though I've never played one in a DnD game. I used to play an MMORPG called Dark Age of Camelot, and there was a Bard class. I convinced a bunch of my guild mates to start a new guild on a different server, and we named the guild Cunning Linguists, and we were all Bards. Haha. Someone reported the guild name though, and it the game company deleted the guild. 🥲
What's your connection to Bards?
