It’s difficult to convey my entire personality in a post. If I had to pick three top values, it would be humor, wit, and compassion. My humor is quite dark, dry, and sardonic. I can also be incredibly vulgar. If we’re not making each other laugh with obscure references to science, history, art, casual murder jokes, or just gross outs, then it’s not going to work. Cumtown and/or Nick Mullen makes for a good litmus test on this one.

While I don’t mind the more offensive humor, I do need someone with compassion and understanding. I’m pretty left leaning and can’t tolerate genuine bigotry.

I have a bachelor’s in Psychology and I love my job. I work at an inpatient rehab helping addicts and alcoholics. It’s exhausting, but fulfilling, work. Every day is something different and I always have crazy stories to share. That being said, I am not against dating addicts or alcoholics. But I require at least a year of sobriety and them to be working some type of program. I’m not here to fix you. Personally, I don’t drink or do drugs besides vaping nicotine. I may smoke weed again in the future, but not for now.

I am spiritual myself, but see myself as a pantheist. I don’t vibe well with those who subscribe to a specific religion. I tend to prefer atheist/agnostics if someone isn’t a deist or pantheist.

Hobbies? Too many to name. My primary hobbies are reading and playing video games. Rimworld is my all time favorite. I love video games, but they are not my life. It’s not all I want to talk about. I also do various creative hobbies and have recently gotten into disc golf… when weather permits. I also go to the gym for weight training.

I’ve recently been into lovecraftian and cosmic horror. But I tend to read a lot of fantasy, historical fiction, and scifi.

As a side note, my diet is more plant based. I don’t care if your’s isn’t. I avoid dairy and eggs, but I’m not super strict about it. I also usually don’t eat meat, but every now and then might have seafood.

What do I want? I want someone close to my age. The youngest I will go is 30. Oldest is around 40. No kids, of course. Preferably never married. I’d like someone within a couple of hours of me. I’d really like to avoid another ldr. But if I really get along with someone, I might be able to deal with it. Just keep in mind I doubt I’ll move.
