Hello,

There was a post a few months ago where they wrote a lot about themselves. I'm reusing what I sent them with edits. If you are interested in me, please send me a PM.

Here are pictures of me: https://imgur.com/a/LanJbQE.

Basics I'm 39 years old. I'm about 5'7. I work from home in healthcare IT for a hospital in my city. I drive but I don't own a car. I'm responsible, I pay my bills, have somewhat of a budget, I have my own place, keeping it clean and comfortable is important to me, I have a stable job where I'm building my career. I'm introverted, I tend to do better with 1 on 1 conversations than contributing in a group chat.

Kids? I don't hate kids, I just know I don't want to take care of them. I like having my space, the quiet, and the fact that everything is where exactly I left it. I like doing things whenever and whatever I want. I've also had a vasectomy last year.

Pets? Like the above, I like pets, but I'm choosing to not have one. I had an elderly cat from my brother-in-law for about two years. I loved him, but I also had to roll up my rugs and cover my couch in pee pads. There was always something to clean up. After that experience, I decided I still like cats, but I don't want to feel unclean in my living space. A dog would be even more to commit to.

Religion? I titter totter between atheism and agnostic. In the end, I don't think about it enough to matter. I believe that treating people well is a given, I don't need religion to tell me that.

Politics? I'm not very involved, but I do consider myself left leaning.

Drink? I'm dabbling more into gin. Before that, I drank a lot of craft beers. I'm not someone that needs to have a drink, I do enjoy the taste and at times, I do like the feeling of tipsy. As I got older, my body doesn't bounce back as quickily, so I toneing down.

Have you ever been in therapy? I have not. I do wonder if I should...just to see if there are some underlying issue that I need to address. But for the most part, I'm quite happy. Sometimes I'm sad, but that's just life's ups and downs.

Do you want to get married someday? I think so. It all depends on the right person.

How much does physical attractiveness matter to you in a potential partner? It matters. I want to be attracted to my partner and I want my partner to be attracted to me. Personality matters as well. Gotta see if we vibe/have a spark. Physical attractiveness is something that you see first, then personality and everything else comes as you learn about a person.

City or country? I grew up in New Jersey and lived that suburban life. I moved to Philadelphia for school in 2014 and fell in love with the city. I enjoyed not having a car to worry about. Public transportation can be a pain sometimes but I do enjoy using it. I've always romatisized when movies show the main character coming out of their NYC apartment and going down the street for groceries, flowers, coffee, bar, whatever.

Are you looking for someone local? Yea, sorta. I would like to meet up with the person and go on a date. Texting and phone calls can only go so far. Learning about a person face to face would be great. I'm willing to expand my net for the right person.

Intimacy and sex? Yes, this is important to me. I had a 3.5 year relationship that this became one of the issues. I don't think I can be in a relationship with someone where there's no sex.

Music? My music has been stuck in the 90s-00s. My favorite band is Incubus. I also listen to some SKA like Streetlight Manifesto.

Movies? I love science fiction, comedy, action, and etc. All the Marvel stuff, LoTR, what have you.

Shows? I just finished rewatching The Good Place again. Just finished Fringe again, finished Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis just before this. Currently watching Bones. Debating whether or not to rewatch The Expanse again. Amersterdam makes me cry. I loved House.

Games? I have a large Steam library and I have so many games that I haven't played. I really liked the art style in Darksiders. I enjoyed most of the Final Fantasy series. I played FFXIV for a few years. I loved FFXI when I was young as that was my first MMO. Couple of years ago I went back and played for a year. I really liked the materia system in FFVII. Dodging lightning in FFX was annoying. I'm currently playing this FPS called Hunt Showdown. I've always built my computers and this time, I have a machine that can handle everything that I throw at it. I've also started playing poker with a group of friends that I recently met.

Art? I like video game art? I'm not a museum art kinda person.

Books? I used to read a lot. I haven't read in a while. When the new Dune movie came out, I bought the first book. I have yet to start it. Same thing with The Gunslinger. I was psyched for the movie, but then the review was bad so I decided to get the book. I think I'm half way through...a year ago. I have a small library, so I should add it to my list of things to do.

What are some of your non-sexual turn ons? When I decided to reorganize my kitchen, all the shelves, prep table, and my fridge fit perfectly. My first iteration of my kitchen was just so cozy even though a bit inefficient. My plants are alive and growing and my spider plant is having babies! I love going out to eat, try new foods.

Do you want your partner to have the same hobbies and interests? Having some interest that overlap would be great. I dated someone that was really into movies. We had a really fun time watching movies together and discuss about it afterwards. I've never dated anyone that was into video games or like computers. I think it would be great to do things together, but I also think that doing things separately are important too.

Annoyances? I wish my neighbor would keep their place clean because we can all smell the stank in our hallway. I wish people are more self-aware. I hate slow internet. I wish actors don't broadcast what they do in their personal life and just stay being actors. I wish my city's public transportation were on time.

Likes? There are a lot of tiny little things. I love coffee in the morning. I enjoy the space I've created for myself.

Relationship Goal? I liked creating my place to be comfortable and I feel like I'm ready to share what I have. I hope I can meet a person that's simliar in knowing what's important to them. They may not know everything that they want, but that's a discovery that takes time. I think even when you find the person that's compatable, it still takes time and work for both people to grow together. Being a responsible adult is a given, be happy, worry about what matters, and work together to face challenges.
