Petite, 38 year old woman (childfree), seeks similar-age (35ish-45ish, but negotiable) man for long-term (hopefully lifelong) relationship. I'm not opposed to getting married, being a stepmom, or maybe adoption in the future, but I guess all of that will depend on the relationship/connection.

About me:

Physically, I'm petite (5'2"), white, slim/athletic build, fair skin/freckles, dark hair, green eyes. I'm told that I'm pretty, but no worries if I'm not your taste. Pictures upon request. I'm fairly active but not really into the gym. I'd rather go hiking or do yoga or Pilates. I'm generally introverted and shy but very kind and empathic. I can relate and talk to most people, but I'm better in small groups. Physical attraction is important to me, but that will NOT work without a mental and emotional attraction also. I'm definitely progressive/left-leaning and believe in the importance of change. That said, Trumpt supporters and the like should probably look elsewhere. You wouldn't like me anyway. I'm also athiest/agnostic. I do find the occult and pagan history fascinating, I'd love to dance naked around a bonfire someday, but I don't really like organized religion.

Interests include true crime (Last Podcast, anyone?), all different kinds of music (not really country), all different kinds of media (especially horror or horror comedy right now), history, and I'm open to new experiences of almost all kinds. I work in the mental health field and am interested in someone who prioritizes mental health and may share my interest in the field of psychedelics and other altered states of consciousness to treat things like depression, anxiety, and PTSD. I'd LOVE someone to trip with, hike with, cook with, just be with. I like going out and doing new things, traveling (even just day or weekend trips), being in nature (I'd like to do more camping), but I also really like just staying home with my dog, having dinner and drinks (also 420 friendly), and doing things like gardening or small projects.

I do have some physical preferences, but I don't believe attraction is always immediate. That said, I'm generally attracted to tall (not a rule), white men, and I'm not attracted to people who don't make an effort to take decent care of themselves or people with drug or alcohol abuse problems. Trust, respect, communication, and empathy are musts. I'm very close with my family and relocation may be difficult for me, but not completely out of the question. Obviously, I'd prefer someone who lives in my area, but I'm open to a reasonable commute to get to know you (maybe an hour or less preferred). I'd prefer someone who is educated and maybe works a "professional" job, just because that's something we'd have in common, but it's not required. That's mainly related to my attraction to intelligent men who are curious, informed, and enjoy learning and trying new things, not about money. I didn't grow up with a lot of money, I'm VERY middle class now, and I'm good with that. Bonus points if you have a similar background. Nerds also welcome!
